     Of course Darla has hung a few Halloween decorations inside their cottage as well.  “I always mix the Halloween decoration with the harvesting ones. When Halloween has passed, I replace the spooky decorations with the Thanksgiving ones but leave the Harvesting decorations.  When Christmas comes along all of the harvesting decorations and colors disappear to be replaced by green, red, and holly,” Darla explains. 

     As we look around, we notice how Darla has decorated her house for the festivites without upsetting the vintage style.

"In my opinion, when you are decorating your house you should always follow its style," she explains. "When people buy decorations, sometime they forget their house's style and buy everything that looks nice, only to discover that it does not fit with their house at all!"
