The Winchers moved into their 1800's cottage right before their daughter Kitty was born. “We were looking for a old house. Robert and I love antique and an old house had always been our dream,” Darla explains, “When we found our cottage we were amazed! It had belonged to the same family for generations until the most recent owners decided to sell it due to financial problems. This house is so filled with history that you can literally smell it in the air!”

Darla Wincher is a renowned chef in town; however food is not her only skill. Darla also has a profound taste for decoration and her cottage changes colors and internal design each season.

“I think it is funny,” she says smiling, “Each season I look through my boxes of decorations and pick all the colors and objects that will turn my house into the season itself!”
